May Holidays
This is an earlier post from back in May that sparked all the interest in more holidays for the school year. Enjoy!
As the weather warms up and the end of year is near, it is so easy for students (and teachers!) to get bogged down with school. An interesting way to keep up the pace in the classroom is celebrations! I found all of these bizarre May holidays online that you could celebrate in the classroom to keep the kids (and you) sane.

- National Barbecue Month
- National Blood Pressure Month
- National Hamburger Month
- National Photograph Month
- National Salad Month
- Older Americans Month
Weekly Celebrations:
- Nurse’s Week- first week of month (Get presents for the school nurse)
- Wildflower Week- week two (Take a break during class to pick wildflowers outside!)
