Spelling word wall words can be so mundane especially when students are typically doing the same homework with all of the words each night throughout the weeks of school. A fun center to get kids spelling out word wall words is to buy the cheap, plastic, magnetic letters for them to use. Then, if you have a desk with a metal front, place all the letters in random order for the students to use for spelling. If you desk isn’t metal, use a small white board and stick it to the wall with 3m strips. 

For higher lever thinking, also buy the magnetic words and allow the students to make sentences about school, silly sentences, and more!
