Tips and ideas on how to be classy, creative, and fun in the classroom. |

I would say that the dramatic play center was my favorite to work in. We often used the dramatic play center after we had class story time. In one instance my Co-Op read Goldilocks and the Three Bears. She had puppets to go along with the story. She set up a small tent in the area and a little table. The kids then reenacted the story using the puppets. After first we turned through the book so the kids could remember what happened next in the story, then when they were down they switched up puppets and then they were usually able to retell the story without the guidance of the book. It was a great way to use their imagination and their comprehension skills.
If anyone has any ideas for centers that you have seen or used, please submit them to TeachersinTiaras@gmail.com. Thanks!!
